Electric cars cheaper than conventional models
A Bloomberg report shows that if the cost of lithium-ion batteries keep plunging even with the increase in price of the raw material, electric cars could be cheaper than gasoline vehicles as early as 2025. The pressure from countries and companies trying to reach the goals set in the Paris climate agreement is the starting point for electric cars. Last September in the United Kingdom, for example, they started a study to assess the necessary infrastructure to determine a deadline to ban the sale of diesel and gas-powered cars.
