A peek at the future of Amazon
Notoriously secretive, Amazon has allowed some strategies to be foreseen in its recent conference on long-term plans. This conference was led by CEO Jeff Bezos and it was out of the ordinary. There was no company logo, no closed deal, and no product launch. During two days in the desert, 200 guests explored their adventurous side with activities such as manufacturing knives and twin-engine tours. The conference focused on the presentations of guests about their passions and jobs. Many workshops, though, discussed subjects such as existing products at Amazon and the guests would represent companies that were already aligned with its business, like the demonstration of Intel`s internal drones that can fetch an item from a very high shelf in the Amazon`s warehouses.
